When two billiard balls collide, one imparts momentum to the other in zero seconds (perfect theoretical world). Does this mean the balls apply an infinite force to each other for zero seconds? Does that even make sense?

Is there any measuring system in which momentum has a fundamental (not derived) unit of measurement? In metric, momentum is measured in kg*m/s which just combines three existing units.

What’s the metric unit for momentum? Is it just kg*m/s or is there a specific unit?

If I’m thinking about a difficult problem sitting at my computer, I often find that getting up (and using the restroom, getting a drink, etc) helps me solve it almost instantly (even though sitting at the computer for an hour doesn’t help). Has anyone studied this phenomenon? Aside from getting up every 5 minutes (which I’m pretty sure would be counterproductive), I want to see if someone has studied and harnessed this effect to increase creativity and productivity.
